Smoked official Opening party

Hey guys. Massive, massive thanks to all of you who’ve come down to check out our shop after my last post – the response has been enormous, much bigger than I anticipated!! We’re hosting our official opening party weekend after next (Sat 5th), kicking off at 4.30pm and finishing up… well, probably pretty late tbh (aaaand i think chances are high we’ll be closed on Sunday). So if you’re free come down and enjoy a couple of delicious Green Beacon beers on the house. We’re also doing rum cocktails, coffee, food, giveaways and live music. Here’s the FB event page with more info and updates: https://www.facebook.com/events/104420763367150/ Cheers guys, looking forward to seeing you again – and some new faces too I hope!! Qantas Domestic Lounge at Brisbane Airport

Flying down south on Friday and got an email from Qantas saying I can pay $39 to get access to the lounge. Does anyone who’s been in the Qantas lounge reckon it’s worth it? I’ll be at Brisbane airport quite early and it seems quite a good way to kill time. I reckon if I drink enough beer/wine then I can easily make up the $39 it costs to get in. Any thoughts? submitted by /u/magpie1862 [link] [comments]

People who scavenge large amounts from curb side collection. What do you do will all that stuff?

It’s that curb side collection time of year again around my area. I’ve noticed a lot of utes, trailers and even small trucks filled to dangerous levels with all sorts of junk. Not just your standard fridges, CRTs, lawn mowers etc. but seemingly useless stuff. What do these people do with it all? Surely it’s not all scrapped for cash. There must be a limit to what sort of stuff you are able to shift on Gumtree to make it worth the effort. submitted by /u/that_1_guy [link] [comments]
