Spurred by another post – I was wondering what the people on /r/brisbane have found in general about their NBN connections. I know it’s easy to go all out and dump on the infrastructure, but what has YOUR personal experience been? How was your initial setup appointment? Who is your ISP, and how have they been if you’ve needed to contact them? Positive stories welcome and encouraged. Normally when you read an online review the bad outweigh the good, few people go out of their way to say how happy they are with a service. submitted by /u/Krimsonmyst [link] [comments]

FOUND An iPad with a rose gold case near Mt Gravatt Capalaba Road near Southern Cross Care
There was an iPad laying in the middle of the road at around 8:20pm last night out the front of Southern Cross Care. The case looks like this and it seemed to be in fairly new condition. I handed it to the Upper Mount Gravatt Police Station, so if you think it belongs to you or someone you know, check there. submitted by /u/is0lated [link] [comments]

Are renters still in a strong position to negotiate rent?
Been living in the same city apartment for 4 years and negotiated a decrease in rent last year, but I then asked for upgrades to the apartment, which the owners agreed to with an increase in rent. Rent went up $15 for $3300 in upgrades. They now want to up the rent again. Last year there was a lot of “4 weeks free rent” offers but I don’t see them as much today. submitted by /u/KirstenPunst [link] [comments]
Business owners of /r/brisbane, if you could go back in time and give yourself some advice, what would it be?
Hey guys, I’m thinking of starting a business in Brisbane, so I figured it might be interesting to hear the thoughts and advice from other Brisbane based business owners and entrepreneurs. Do you enjoy running a business? Did it meet your expectations? Do you have any advice for someone just starting out? Is there anything you wish you did differently? submitted by /u/rjg117 [link] [comments]
