Hi all, Do PC companies typically have deals on laptops during the summer vacation months like in the US? For example, during the summer months in the US Microsoft once had a deal in which you get a free xbox if you purchase a Surface from them. Venue/hall to hire for a board game party?

I usually have board game events at mine, but it is getting hot and my house has no aircon, and most people I game with are the kind of nerd that melts at first hint of heat, so… I’m looking for and air-conditioned and reasonably presentable space that I can book exclusively (so the gaming spaces at Good Games or Ace Comics & Games are not suitable as they can’t be booked like that as far as I know). I expect 25-30 people. We’ll need tables and chairs (ha!), but that’s about it. I’d like the option for people to bring their own food, so booking out Go Lounge is not really an option. What should we do whilst in QLD for 2 weeks? Places to go.. things to see?

Morning guys! I’m heading with the Mrs to QLD for 2 weeks in January -starting at the Gold Coast and working our way up towards the Sunshine Coast. We are having a combination of a holiday/scouting out Brisbane as we are wanting to move away from Melbourne for a change and want to see what Brisbane has to offer. Regardless of that, what are some activities we must do on our trip, or places we must see? We will be spending 3 nights in the Gold Coast, 2 nights in South Brisbane, 2 nights just North of Brisbane (Paddington?) and then head towards Noosa/Moolooaba.
