Need help buying a suit

Hey All, I need a nice dress suit for work events and even for events such as going to the races / polo. A navy suit seems to be the best way to go, but I have no idea where to look. Do Country Road & Roger David have good quality suits? Should I be going to a specialist store? Looking to spend between 500 – 1k, but as I haven’t bought a suit before on my own, not too sure where the best quality/$ ratio is. If I’m looking for a long term suit should I get one tailored? Would it be out of that pricerange? Any help would be great! submitted by /u/TexasForeverSix [link] [comments]

Accidentally entered forms incorrectly AHH

Hi all, Just looking for some advice regarding TMR and thought someone here might have some insight I just bought a car here in Brisbane and I submitted the transfer of ownership forms with TMR. Where it said “Vehicle’s Dutiable Value”, I assumed it meant the stamp duty payable on the car. I bought the car for $12000, and the Stamp Duty Calculator on the website (https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/registration/fees/duty/calculator/) says that the stamp duty payable on a $12000 car is $360. So on the form, I wrote “$360″… The staff there gave me a weird look and said that seems strange, and that it may be picked up by the Department of State Revenue. After leaving TMR I now realise that i was supposed to put $12000 and I am freaking out because I don’t want them to think I am avoiding payment or something like that. I am going to go

Biloela, QLD

Hello all! Anyone on here know much about Biloela, QLD? I’ve got a potential graduate teaching offer there and while there are heaps of perks (paid moving costs, cheap teacher accommodation, it’s only 7 hours drive from Brisbane etc, ), and the town seems nice enough (it has a lot of facilities for a place that Education Queensland considers ‘bush’), I can only seem to find factual information about the place. I was hoping to hear from someone that currently lives or has lived there for a few years to provide some insight. I grew up in a busy city and moved to Brisbane, so all I’ve ever known is the city life. Is there enough to do in Biloela to keep me busy? I know it will have a small town feel, but is it the sort of place where everyone knows everyone elses business or is there some
