Tiny little fruit flies

In the last couple of days my apartment has been invaded by tiny little fruit flies. I’ve lived here since Feb and never seen a single one of them before. My kitchen is pretty clean, I hardly have any fruit for them to eat, and it’s been wayyyyy dirtier in the past with no sign of any pests. Is this just a seasonal thing? Road Trip companion wanted, Brisbane to Tasmania and back.

I’ve got a converted Hiace van that I plan to hit the road with early December. 90% chance I’m going alone. But on the off chance anyone is interested in coming along I thought I would post here. My trip is from Brisbane to Tasmania and back – 30 days max. I need to stop at Mt Kosciusko, Golden Beach Vic and Bairnsdale Vic. Aside from that just sticking to the coast and stopping wherever is the plan. Splitting costs while keeping it cheap as possible is the go. Bonus points if you have a clean, open, manual licence. Anger management problems are out, no one who freaks out in a crisis and no messy/ untidy people. A note on my windshield "Hey i like your numberplate, can i buy your car?" Scam?

After work i noticed a piece of paper under my wiper that basically said “Hey i really like your numberplate and would like to buy your car for $xxxx, call me on #xxxxxxxx” Then his name – his name seemed to indicate my plate (just a normal 123xyz plate) would be personalised to him. My first thought was, if i hadnt just paid rego id consider it, followed immediately by whats the angle? Car is not that great he offered more than its worth, a personalized plate would be less than the difference between its real value and a personalized plate.
