/r/Brisbane Group Ride

Before I begin I’ve never organised anything of this scale before so this is just a pre-plan post to see what everyone thinks. In saying that, a few days ago I brought up the topic of good places to ride around the city since I’ve never tried it before. Instead of just going off by myself I thought it might be a good chance to meet some other /r/Brisbane bike riders and we can go take a look around or if anyone knows some good spots they can lead the way. I don’t have a date, time or meeting place in mind yet but ideally it’ll be on the 3rd of December maybe start early and meet at SouthBank, check out a few spots then take a break for lunch when it’s hot (allows for people to meetup after the ride hast started) and ride on throughout the afternoon and

Good idea for first dates in CBD

Just seeing if anyone can recommend any good ideas for a first date/meet up? I was originally thinking west end markets and getting coffee whilst listening to the live music, then walking along the river. But it’s going to have to be somewhere indoors with AC now. Places to buy camera batteries?

I’m looking for a battery for my 35mm film camera, the only place I’ve found them stocked was masters, but with masters closing down they don’t have any left. Does anyone know of some specialty battery places in Brisbane that might stock them? The specific battery I’m looking for is an Eveready A544, or its equivalent.
