Hole Digger [South-East]

I am building a cubby house for my kids and need to dig 4 post holes. I have a shovel, clam shovel and crowbar but it’s hot and digging holes sucks. I looked into hiring a powered auger (hole-digger) for a half day but the cheapest I could find was from $75 excluding delivery charges. Just thought there may be fence builder or someone with an auger that might be able to help a fellow redditor out! I don’t know if anyone would be interested in such a small job, just putting out some feelers to see if I get any bites. Info: 4x holes 600mm deep; 200-250mm wide. /r/Brisbane Bicycle Ride – 3rd of December – 8am – Riverloop

Hey all! This is the official announcement thread to kick off the first (of hopefully many) /r/Brisbane group rides. Anyone of any fitness is welcome as it’s a no drop ride. Details: 3rd of December 8am Meet on the grass between Little Stanley Street and Burger Urge to start a Riverloop (anti-clockwise). I’ve never lead a group ride before so if there’s some more experienced riders attending feel free to take the lead. Supports for Grandmothers home maintenance?

Does anyone know of any government supports or cheap handymen to do home repairs for the elderly, my nanna’s home is falling to bits the external staircase partially collapsed and the place is pretty run down. Otherwise it’s off to a home for nanna, though we’d prefer not too, she’d be so sad.
