Barista courses

I’m just wondering if all barista courses are purely for learning the skills or are there accredited ones that give some sort of small certificate, kind of like a food safety certificate or something. And if so, is it ever needed for anything? submitted by /u/Pandaovenload [link] [comments]

/r/Brisbane! What is your favourite local band?

I’m looking to expand my repertoire of local artists and hoping to find a few new bands to start following. I helped curate this list a few months ago and I’m currently having Bugs – Instant Coffee on repeat at the moment as it is totally rad – what are the locals new and old that you love to hear on repeat? submitted by /u/supreme_101 [link] [comments]

[SERIOUS] Help for a Single Mum

She works as much as she can during school hours – outside of that she cannot due to having to be with the kids. She also gets a part centrelink payment that fluctuates depending on how many shifts she has per week. She came to Brisbane to be where he work is but never seems to be able to get ahead. No choice this morning than to run the kids to school and back (too far to walk). Got caught, $300 fine on top of her 6

Anyone interested in a room in St Lucia?

Having trouble filling my room in my sharehouse, picked a bad time of year to move state! If you’re interested in living on Carmody Rd, St Lucia right near UQ the rent is $142/week and the room comes furnished. You’d be living with three lovely housemates (all guys) who study at UQ and respect personal space but are also sociable and always up for a chat. Here’s the ad with photos and details http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/st-lucia/flatshare-houseshare/room-in-st-lucia-close-to-uq-buses-ferry-and-restaurants/1131577811 Let me know if you have any questions! submitted by /u/heardtherewasgirls [link] [comments]
