Hi all, Clearing out a bookcase, and seeing if anyone wants to buy some books before I donate them to lifeline. All are second hand – some better nick than others. Asking for $5 a book unless otherwise noted, pickup in Greenslopes. Or have the lot for $80. Camping Advice

Hey everyone Need your advice once again from casual or committed campers. Myself and a group of six or seven are wanting to go camping for a friend’s birthday. We want seclusion and the usual debauchery of being alone in nature! Unfortunately we are also clueless. Would love ideas for somewhere beautiful, an hour or two away from Bris, prefer not near cliffs/danger unless you have somewhere really nice in mind. MEETUP | 30 JULY (Sunday) | Brisbane German Club – Tasty Beer, $20 Pork Knuckle, and full menu available

Two common themes at GRMD (Global Reddit Meetup Day) Brisbane doesn’t have enough events Brisbane German club is awesome! For efficiency let’s cover off both in one event! The last Sunday of the month is $20 Pork Knuckle day (the whole menu is also available) at the German Club. Anyone is free to come along, as evident of the GRMD we are quite a decent bunch of people. Sunday should also make it easier for people to attend. KICKOFF AT MIDDAY (I’ll be there from 11:30 as there is nothing better than drinking Sunday morning) There is no loud music on Sundays, so feel free to bring any board games, it will be an easier environment than Netherworld. I’ll organise a RSVP system the week before so we can give the club a heads-up on seating requirements. NOTE: Brisbane German Club is a community club, as such you must sign

I just need to vent about Yeronga for a second.

God damn it half an hour before the primary school kids were let out there’s some woman overdosing outside of the half way house which is on the main corner. For fucks sake demolish the place and rebuild it somewhere out of the sight of primary school children. I am so fucking sick of seeing bongs and needles around the place. Little 5 year olds walk up and down those roads and they’re exposed to shit like this?
