It’s still out there. This is weird as shit. Keeps circling and beeping and shit. Edit: yes, it’s a helicopter and it keeps circling slightly north of Springfield, and it’s still doing the weird beeping loudspeaker. submitted by /u/ovrprcdbttldwtr [link] [comments]

Where to find work?
I desperately need a job soon otherwise I’ll be evicted, but everywhere I’ve been applying to has either not responded or rejected me via automated email. The issue I have is I have no work experience, and they want people with experience. Where is some places I can get work, I don’t care what it is as long as it pays. Thanks reddit 😀 submitted by /u/Pikanyaa034 [link] [comments]
Shower Curtain Rods?
Hey, I’m looking for an adjustable shower curtain rod. Either tension or the twisty kind. Do you guys (australians) have a different name for them or something? Google hasn’t got shit. Checked bunnings and spotlights website, again, nothing. submitted by /u/shamowfski [link] [comments]
Recommendations for lunch
I moved away from Brisbane a few years ago and now have to plan a birthday lunch for a group of people (about 15 or so). Any recommendations for a nice Sunday lunch that isn’t in the CBD and isn’t a pub. Thanks. submitted by /u/DorcasTheCat [link] [comments]

Violin/Viola lessons for a young adult that includes instrument hire?
Super attracted to learning a viola from scratch, but I don’t want to rush in and buy a $400 instrument without a pro to help me on my way. Not too crazy far from the CBD preferable but if you have a place in mind, let me know. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/sunnymugs [link] [comments]
Annoying Neighbors! What can I do
We built a great house in a reasonably close suburb to CBD and one year later this neighbour moved in to the next door house, renovated it and extended the deck so they have full oversight to our living room. Discussed this matter with them but they didn’t care , talked to council and it seems that they don’t care either. Loosing our privacy is one thing ( annoying enough to develop a sense dislike toward them ) they have party every few weekend and invite a dozen of families (each with 2-3 kids). We literally don’t have a peaceful weekend in our own house. I can’t understand why these people can’t appreciate the fact that living in a dense urban area is not the same as living in a farm or a acreage property. I am wondering if anyone out there had similar situation and can suggest any resolution.
Just a shout out to a local business who helped my girl and I out of a bind
Just sharing this amazing local business [Red Dog Campers](www.reddogcampers.com.au/)… Peter (the owner) really stepped up yesterday and helped my partner and I out of a horrible situation (we had travelled down from Brisbane to pick up a second hand caravan, after getting our car fitted with electric brakes and a 12volt wire onto the existing plug). When we arrived the electrics in the caravan would not work, and we were unable to take the caravan. We rang the auto electrician that did the work and they basically fobbed us off, saying that we needed to purchase an additional module as the caravan was drawing to much power from the car, and that was why nothing was working. Peter did everything he could to help us (giving us a light board, and pulling the entire plug apart on the car to try and work out the issue – he tested the
