Hi all, I may have to do a daily commute from Burleigh to Eagle Farm for around 5 months next year, Monday to Friday. No real public transport options because it’s Eagle Farm, so I will have to drive. Parking expenses are not an issue, as my destination has a private car park. How much will it kill me inside? Any tips to not go insane? Best hours to leave? I have considered renting nearby as an option, not sure how easy it is to get a short-term rental (5 months) at a decent price. Also, I’m not keen on having to deal with real estate agents again. But maybe it’s worth it to save on the commute? submitted by /u/OBSCENE_REDDIT_NAME [link] [comments]

Best Suburbs for Internet speeds and bus routes?
The title asks it all but I’m also looking for best areas of transportation to St. Lucia and the city (bus routes, sea ferry, train, etc). Suburbs like Hamilton and Eagle Farm look good with the NBN and the location of busses, but are there any other nice places with prime locations of internet and transport? submitted by /u/ogjamcat [link] [comments]

Stuff to do in Brisbane on Christmas with family?
Hi, my family of four don’t see extended family on Christmas due to them being in different states so we don’t do anything but watch Christmas movies all day. I want to do something different this year so I wanted to ask r/brisbane if there is anything to do in QLD on Christmas Day? submitted by /u/jerryboree [link] [comments]
