I can’t cook, and I’m looking for food that will put on a lot of weight because I’m super skinny. Prefer to stick away for getting takeaway all the time. submitted by /u/Rocket_Burst [link] [comments]

Looking for some chill and tidy tenants in Nundah
Hi all, I need to fill a room in a quiet 3 bedroom Nundah townhouse that will be available mid-January. It’s on a quiet residential street, 10 minutes walk to Nundah station and has unlimited NBN internet (can easily get up to 60-70mbps). Rent is $135/week, plus internet ($30/month) and bills (total $400/quarter usually). Looking for someone to stay 6 months or more. I’m a 26 year-old engineer, quiet and laid-back guy who’s into video games, tech and all the nerdy stuff. If you’re someone similar, you’ll fit right in. What I ask from my housemates is that they reliably pay their rent/bills on time and don’t turn the place into a slum or frat party house. I’d also want you to be on the lease as well with the other housemates just to keep all the paperwork transparent and tidy (bond and rent will be done directly with the
Where to get mangoes
I’m after a good place to get mangoes. I’m talking the 10 for $10 Bowen mango deal. You often see places on the side of the road but I haven’t seen so many this year. Inner north Brisbane would be best. Where do you all get your mango fix from? submitted by /u/Userdoesntcheckout [link] [comments]
Anyone who knows about repairing crash-damaged cars please provide advice on next steps?
https://imgur.com/gallery/51WUm https://imgur.com/gallery/Aof6Q https://imgur.com/gallery/tS0I8 https://imgur.com/gallery/YpofO I had a car accident and only had 3rd party on my car In retrospect it was a dumb idea. I took a gamble and lost. Could you please help me to work out the most affordable way to repair the car so I can then sell it for the best price. I will disclose that it has been in an accident I have absolutely no problem with that. I need to get it into a condition where someone will want to buy it. I don’t think wreckers would pay as much as I would receive from doing a repair and selling at a fair price. Yaris 2006 Manual 5 door 1.3L 110,000km. Regular service history. Redbook says $4,900 – $6,400 private sale which seems to match the prices of the exact same models I found in QLD on Carsales.com.au I took it to one body
Partner got screwed over by Qantas airlines – anything we can do?
I would like to say that I will be flying Qantas for the first time this holiday season (as a new Australia resident), I was planning to fly to the US on Thursday with my partner (u/s13_eisbaer) to visit close family (including my grandmother who may not make it into this summer) – however due to a number of errors on Qantas’ part and a bit on eisbear’s it looks like I will now be flying alone and spending holidays without him. I’m very disappointed in their customer service and handling of an errored transaction on their part. He was issued a voucher due to a refunded flight sometime last year (he is a frequent flyer of Qantas, or was), and was planning to use the voucher the fly himself over to the states while paying for my ticket out of pocket. All was well and good as he had

Tips for group interview for admin role with QLD government?
Hoping someone may have been through a group interview for a Queensland Government admin job and might be able to give some strategies for a friend. A previous group interview involved some pretty left of field questions (“apocalypse and you can’t save everyone – who do you save?” style) that they perhaps they didn’t nail. Are you best to try and ask plenty of questions, show your a leader, listen more than jump in? submitted by /u/alambi [link] [comments]
