Check out operators/cashiers of Brisbane… What can I do to make your job easier?

I was just packing away all of my re-useable bags after a large grocery shop a couple of days ago when I thought… “I wonder if using these things is annoying for the checkout operator? Is packing all of the other bags into the “cool bag” making this even harder for them?”. So, this gave thought to what I could do to make things easier for them in general. I have a few questions about Princess Alexandra

I’ve been to PA a few times last year for my mental health but I was never admitted to the ward, just spent a few hours in the waiting area then I was released. My question is, do they allow you to use your phone/keep it while your in the ward once you have been admitted? I’m only asking since last December I was admitted into Prince Charles and you were allowed to use your phone as well as keep it in the ward there. Also is Princess Alexander the best place to go for mental health in Brisbane? since I can’t afford to go to a private hospital? submitted by /u/TheBatmansOP [link] [comments]

Brisbane, now that motorcycle filtering has been legal for a while, what do you all think about it?

The post about kids dropping their kids off to school and traffic got me thinking. I remember when it was first legalised filtering motorcyclists would cop a tonnes of verbal abuse/horns and would intentional block them from filtering. Now days I barely see it. What’s your opinion on it? submitted by /u/phirrip500r [link] [comments]

Internet and Mobile Phones

Not long ago, I posted my negative experiences with iiNet. I have had internet access now for four days, and everything else was finally resolved today. iiNet have fixed the problems, given me a substantial credit and cancelled the remainder of my contract (approximately 11.5 months). I have no interest in dealing with them any further, and will be changing providers. The problem I have is that in the beginning, iiNet was the disruptor. They bought good customer service to the telecommunications industry. Then the TPG takeover happened and that was the end of that. I am not yet on the NBN, and there is no date for connection. Does anyone have recommendations for a provider? Preferably someone who can do the landline/mobiles/internet. Who now has the Gold Standard for service? All suggestions appreciated. submitted by /u/OlGrumpyBastard [link] [comments]
