I've been asked to pay bond directly to the house mate who is leaving

So I’m moving into an existing sharehouse and the girl who is leaving has asked me to pay my share of the bond DIRECTLY to her. I have no experience with this sort of stuff as I’m moving out/in for the first time. But I looked it up on the RTA and I think you have to fill out form 6 and then I would pay the bond to the RTA and the RTA would refund the bond to the girl who is leaving. Is this right or are there any other exceptions to this? submitted by /u/indecisive-name [link] [comments]

Train Observations

Kids need to carry massive school bags. When I went to school, we carried a lot of books but I thought by 2017 that tablets/laptops would have reduced the load. Instead, the bags seem have grown. You can only imagine the damage being done to a developing spine. Some of these bags would be too big to take on a plane as carry-on. And that doesn’t include the various instruments and PE gear that’s also being lugged around submitted by /u/brisbanekev [link] [comments]

Northside Gym Recommendations – Possibly also interested MMA/Martial Arts

Hey guys, So taking the usual Reddit advise after a break up – quit FB, hit the gym. So FB is already done and dusted, now I’m trying to find good gym recommendations. I’m wanting something sub $20/wk and must not be related to Crossfit and be in the area between Nundah and North Lakes. Prefer old school gyms – lots of free weights, not many machines, and not set up line a night club (looking at you Go Health Nundah). Prefer somewhere with a supportive atmosphere for a fat ass getting back into shape. Now I’m also considering some MMA or a Martial Art. I’ve lost alot of confidence and don’t have any constructive outlets for my anger. And I’ve always been interested in fight sports. So if any guys have recommendations for a martial art too would be good. I guess I martial arts I’d like an active

What the FUCK is wrong with Riding & Hawthorne Rd Drivers?

So many frustrating SLOWPOKES driving 40 – 50 kp/h in a goddamn 60 zone. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Yes, outside school hours. I don’t experience this anywhere else in Brisbane (apart from peak or school hour). And yes, I do slow down near Hawthorne cinema’s pedestrian crossing coz it seems black spot-ish. DAFUQ is wrong with you Hawthorne, Bulimba, Balmoral snail-heads??? EDIT: I am talking about outside school hours zones y’all Redditors! During 7-9 / 2-4, I definitely slow down. Edit 2: I am not talking about slowing down and driving cautiously around “blackspots.” (schools, cinemas, parks) I mean those who do 45-50 the whole damn trip along both roads. submitted by /u/SLOWPOKE_ROADRAGE [link] [comments]
