Hey guys. Just curious about what the general opinion on QUT’s Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment is and if it’s a useful way to enter the games industry. From what I’ve read on the internet in forum posts the consensus is that it’s not worthwhile and someone interested in game development is better served by studying IT and majoring in computer science, but I couldn’t find any posts more recent than 5 or 6 years ago so maybe something has changed since then. Do you enjoy talking about theme parks and want to host a video podcast?
I host a weekly live theme park talk show via Facebook/YouTube. I’m just putting the feelers out there to see if anyone is interested in coming on the show as part of a semi regular third host position. It’s unfortunately unpaid, and is on Wednesdays at 7pm. I am looking for people who’d be interested in coming along regularly and just be able to have a relaxed chat with us on-air. It’s very casual and you do not need to be a total park nerd, but be keen to learn new stuff!
