Brisbane 10s What to do?
I’m flying into Brisbane next Friday morning before checking out the Brisbane 10s for most of the weekend. I’ll be staying near suncorp and was wondering what there is to do to fill up most of Friday and Saturday evening. I like walking and exploring different parts of the city, so I was curious where I should be headed that will give me a good overall idea of Brisbane. I’m heading up the coast with some friends on Monday so I won’t have much time to see Brisbane. submitted by /u/Guyseep [link] [comments]

Where to buy salted liquorice
I love salted liquorice but haven’t been able to find it since I moved here. I haven’t looked real hard though. Anyone got any idea where I could buy some? submitted by /u/antmine [link] [comments]

What are the black boxes that have started appearing on light poles?
Has anyone else noticed black waterproof pelican-case style but smaller boxes that have begun popping up attached to light poles? There is a cluster of them on the inner city bypass after the kelvin grove exit, going towards the valley. There is also a bunch that just popped up all along Sylvan Rd in Toowong. What are they? I’m curious to know. submitted by /u/Brisbanefishman7 [link] [comments]
Cheapest solution to get a table and sideboard from Thornlands to the CBD?
https://imgur.com/gallery/xYiFd I need to move a table and a sideboard. They are real timber but neither are really heavy to move. I don’t think that they will be able to fit in the back of a ute or trailer at the same time. They are antique so I don’t want to stack them. I don’t have a tow bar on my car otherwise I would get a trailer. I calculated the Bunnings ute will cost me about $90 plus petrol as they cost $35 for two hours plus 39c per km. submitted by /u/Gatoblanconz [link] [comments]
