Travelling to Japan today – need anything?

Hey guys! I’m off to Japan for a few weeks. Was just putting feelers out there if anyone wants anything small bought back they may have missed last time? There’s nothing worse than coming home and realising you didn’t buy enough green tea kit kats to last you until your next trip over! Happy to help if it can fit into carry-on! Send me a PM if you would prefer 👍🏼 submitted by /u/sezownz [link] [comments]

Guns n' Roses at QSAC

Hey Brisbane – I’m headed to QSAC tomorrow afternoon to see Guns n’ Roses. I’m travelling down from the northside and I’ve never been to anything at QSAC before. Any tips on best places to park? Or should I park offsite and public transport the last few k’s? What are your experiences like? I think ACDC were there last year, weren’t they? submitted by /u/entreprenerds [link] [comments]

Anyone work in film/tv/radio in Brisbane?

So I am to graduate this semester (June/July graduation), majoring in Film and TV. Regrettably, I did this through UQ because at the time I was majoring in writing and then switched to Film and TV in my second year. I say regrettably because UQ’s film major is only good for the writing side, which is what I prefer, but it’s almost impossible to get a job in a writing position (or without industry experience), so I’d settle for anything to get my foot in the door. I looked into doing internships but you have to pay for them, which I’d rather not do if I can avoid it. I have a part time job at the moment but I’d like to move into something in the field. So basically my question is, what’s the best thing for me to do? For those who work in the industry, any advice?
