Hey /r/Brisbane, do any of you have any unwanted furniture or appliances?

Hey guys, I’ve just moved into my first apartment and it’s a little bare. I’m a bit tight on cash after just paying the bond and stuff so I can’t really afford brand new furniture, thought I’d check on here for some cheaper stuff 🙂 Do any of you have any reasonable condition stuff laying around? Story Bridge Cellars refuses to sell XXXX

Was just walking past Story Bridge Hotel, and some old bloke with walking frame gently, and quietly asked if I could buy him a 6 pack of XXXX, gives me money to pay. I ask why don’t ya get it yourself? “Well because the guy there wont sell it to me. Got a problem with my walking frame or something … I dunno”. He’s a chilled, gentle old bloke, not causing drama, not pissed or messy. So I take his money, go buy his 6 pack for him, he offers me his change to buy an ice-cream for my little girl. “Nah thanks mate, just enjoy your evening”. Tafe is dicking me around!

I Just enrolled in a tafe course approximately four weeks ago although the process took more than a month because of how unorganised their entire enrollment process is. After constantly emailing them back and forth for a week for why I haven’t received any info on the course I’ve still received no timetable, was told it wasn’t ready yet, no other information on the course. Being told this I assumed the course must have been delayed. I contact them again today only to find out the course had already begun today and the next class is later this week, they forgot to mention this in the 50 flapping times I asked them off when the course will begin. Still haven’t received a timetable or anything else at all. I only found this out after emailing them around 20 times. I’m just sick of being dicked around now and don’t know
