Weird behavior from my neighbor

We live in a block of units with shared balcony/walkway and stairwell and recently, a new neighbor moved into the upstairs unit. Our unit is right next to the stairwell so if someone runs up and down the stairs, it wakes us up. Recently, someone has been running up and down the stairs at around 3-3:30am in the morning and waking us both up. Since today is Saturday, we decided to get out of the bed this time and see who it was. Lo and behold, it’s the new neighbor who ran down the stairs at 3:30am and drives off. We waited (in our unit, since we woke up due to noise). At around 4:10am, we heard her car pull back into the port. So we went outside to the shared balcony (where the stairwell is) and asked her if she could be quiet when she walks up and down

PS2 games around Brisbane?

Does anyone know where I can buy cheap ps2 games around Brisbane? (preferably the north side). I found my old ps2 and some games the other day and hooked it up to my tv and it still works, so I’m looking for some new games to play with it. I’ve already been to gametraders and they were fairly expensive ($20-25 each). It’s not that I can’t afford them, it’s more that I’m sure I can find them for a better price. I’m thinking of going to an op shop later this afternoon. In the meantime, any ideas? submitted by /u/CletusDeletus [link] [comments]

Family friendly skate park

Hi all, I have a 4 year old who really wants to skate “at the skate park”, he’s happy to go outside in the driveway too but gets excited being at the skatepark and wants to “skate” longer, so I want to encourage that behavior. I used to skate as a kid but had to stop after a couple of pretty bad injuries (not related to skateboarding) and wouldn’t mind getting back into it too so I’m looking for a place we can go together. The thing is… I suck, my kid sucks and I don’t want to be getting in anyone’s way. I wouldn’t mind finding a place that also has a mini ramp/half pipe (maybe a 3 – 4 footer) too in and around the Yeerongpilly area (happy to drive 20 – 30 mins) that also has a bit of space for the youngster to do his thing.

Social softball ?

I used to love playing softball in high school, and am keen to play again. I have seen plenty of people play social soccer, netball, hockey etc but I am having trouble finding any social softball groups that just play for fun. Does anyone know of any groups that play in the Brisbane area? submitted by /u/MrWhiskerMeowMeow [link] [comments]
