Re-installing NBN at 4am – Northern Suburbs

Hey all, Last night, my mum (who is recovering from very recent, very painful surgery) was woken up at 4am by the beeping of, what she later found out, were two cherry pickers. The man below us popped his head out of his balcony and aggressively asked why we have been making scraping noises for 30 minutes. I apologised and said it was not 30 minutes but we won’t be moving anything else any time soon. He muttered under his breath and slammed his door shut. This is our first encounter with him, apart from saying a polite “hi, how are you?” in the hallway. We get nothing but a grunt in return, some times he just stares at us like we are crazy for asking. We’ve been here for well over a year now. Tldr: moved a couch outside for 10 minutes, neighbour complained and exaggerated, I

How do I challenge a 'Fare Evasion' warning notice?

I was riding a train when a translink inspector was checking go cards, when checking mine it turned out I had not tapped on to use the train, what had happened was my card failed to tap off that morning, so when I tried to tap back on I was actually tapping off after 8 hours. I know it is just a warning however it doesn’t exactly paint an accurate picture and could screw me up later on submitted by /u/_Insert_Name_ [link] [comments]
