Copper chopper V 747 over shorncliffe?

Just witnessed an unlit chopper circling over Shorncliffe/Sandgate/Deagon area with no lights and a 4 engine jet make a sharp bank to the east in the same area. All in Brisbane controlled airspace but looked a little close to me. Cloud base is low and both were visible against the cloud. You almost never see 747 or 380’s above my place For the aviation nerds, time was close to 2100 or 1100Z, maybe half an hour before. I am not sure how to track it down on the flightradar or similar websites. I am sure the copper chopper guys are well trained, but they have been know to operate with no lights or transponder in uncontrolled airspace before including where I fly out of. Not sure they keep separation from us plebs, but if they have no lights on then how the fuck am I supposed to keep separated from

Best place to sell a suit?

I was recently asked to be the Best Man at my best mates wedding. Couldn’t possibly decline (and wouldn’t want to), but the problem is that his new brother-in-law convinced him that buying suits was the only way to go. So I am now the proud owner of an MJ Bale suit, worth a little over $1000, that has been worn once. I’m an IT consultant that works from home, so my dress code usually involves shorts and thongs. I have no need of another suit, no matter how nice it is. So, my question to you /r/Brisbane is: Where can I go to sell this suit? Its been worn once, and I was sober all night (best man speech was at the end of the evening for some reason) so it’s unstained. Is Youtube painfully slow for anyone else on TPG?

As per title. I have NBN 100/40 and yes I know speedtest is pretty much rigged and is sometimes not a reliable indicator of performance, but I’m pulling 90+mbps and the rest of the web is fine, so I don’t think this is a “normal” contention issue. I’ve never had contention issues before, but the past week or so Youtube has been almost completely unusable. All videos set themselves to auto 144p or 240p, maybe 480p if I’m lucky. “Stats for nerds” graph on Youtube says I’m not even reaching 1mbps download speed, usually it’s about 700kbps. If I connect to my work VPN (50/50 telstra fibre) or my friend’s VPN (100/40 exetel NBN), then my speed immediately goes through the roof and I can pull 25+mbps and watch HD no problems. Changing DNS to Google or OpenDNS does not solve the problem, only connecting to a VPN does. Does

Meteor over Brisbane

Pretty sure I saw a meteor fall somewhere on Brisbane. It was about 11:50-55 I was driving northbound on the M1 at Springwood. I saw a fluorescent white streaking light falling straight down in the direction of the CBD from me. Of course very hard to tell how far away it was but my perception was telling me it would have been within the greater Brisbane area. Just one more reason I wish I had a dash cam. Fled Domestic Violence help

I fled domestic violence on Sunday and believe my belongings may have been thrown on the curb but am too frightened to go back. I can pay for someone to drive past to check, I left with only some of my clothes. I’m currently waiting for them to be served with the DVO but my things may be destroyed by then if they are on the curb. I don’t know what else to do, I don’t have any family or friends to ask.
