Visiting friend who wants to see bats

Let’s just say she is crazy keen on bats and is coming here in a few weeks for a holiday. She wants to go visit a bat sanctuary and have a look. I’ve been online and can find one waay up north and one way down south but not much info on visiting etc. Is there anyone here who is into bat rescue, relocation or similar that I can put her in touch with to maybe come out for a day to see what happens with bats/bat rescue here? submitted by /u/Startingout12345 [link] [comments]

Guys, I just want to say a few things….

I have noticed over the last two or so years I’ve known about Reddit and being subscribed with a couple different accounts subbed to r/brisbane that there is a lot of struggling people that are living at our below the poverty line living off fucking beans and rice. I’ve by no means grown up with a privileged back ground, fuck, this is the house I lived in 1988-1990 as it stood in 2010-ish. I lived off sausages and ice break for around 6 months in my early 20s haha but if any of y’all out there are really struggling for food or anything PM me, I’ll swing some grocery vouchers or organise a ‘I’m so hungry I could die’ meet up and pick up the tab.
