Looking for a mate with a room, a house to share. One of those thingos.

Lived on my own for quite a long time, too damn expensive. I’ve been scouring flatmates.com.au, but thought I’d chuck some feelers on this sub too. Anyone within 5km of the CBD and need an awesome roomie? https://flatmates.com.au/F1849199 Looking for something nice with awesome people, pride in where I live is important for my own motivation and whatnot. submitted by /u/TheLilHipster [link] [comments]

Looking for roommate in Newstead, $250 p/w

Hi r/brisbane! My name’s Jess – I’m a 25 y/o female graphic/web designer who loves travelling (super evident if you go through my post history hah), healthy eating and music. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Newstead and am looking for somebody to share my apartment with me. You’ll get a bedroom, bathroom and car space all to yourself for $250 p/w! I’m super laid back, bit of a homebody who just likes to chill at home, scroll through this fucking website for hours on end (or worse even, end up in a YouTube wormhole til 3am). I’m super respectful of personal space and downtime, clean (my last room mate wasn’t and it low key drove me insane) and I love cooking. The rent is non-inclusive of bills but internet is only $40 a month once divided and the quarterly electricity bill has never amounted to

Car detailing

Hey all, any recommendations for a place to get my car detailed? I’d like to maybe have the wheel scuffs fixed but mostly keen for someone to clean the interior and polish and buff out some marks. I don’t know what a reasonable price is for this so any recommendations and advice would be appreciated. submitted by /u/cmon_the_hoops [link] [comments]

JB Hifi – Gift cards -> cash?

Hi folks, Just check if anyone has had any experience in converting JB Hifi gift cards to cash? I have about $4k worth of cards that I have no need for and would rather have the dosh for upcoming travel. Obviously you can’t trade them for cash directly, but reading their returns policy there is nothing specific about purchasing something with a gift card and returning it for cash. The only thing mentioned in their returns policy regarding change of mind is the following: Unused & Unopened, packaging in good condition (product not faulty) – eg change of mind. 100% Refund 30 Days Excludes Commercial Sales It doesn’t mention that it must go back to the same card / store credit. Any experiences would be much appreciated. Cheers submitted by /u/Grimy81 [link] [comments]
