My name is Steve Hofstetter. I'm the comedian who had a heckler clip hit #1 on Reddit. 5 May, I'm coming to Brisbane to turn Black Bear into a pop-up comedy club (my first Aussie show!). I try to get venues to do $5 tickets for Redditors. We will do it again in Brisbane if enough people are down.

(If you are unfamiliar with my comedy, you can download a free album for a preview, check out my YouTube, or join my subreddit. And here’s the video that hit #1) submitted by /u/thehofstetter [link] [comments]

I’ve tried selling it, finding somewhere to donate it, pawning it off on friends. I’m moving again and tired of moving it around. I used it when I got my CCNA, liked using it along side simulators. 2 x 2950 switches 3 x 1760 routers (with upgraded memory, 1 has wic expansion) 1 x 2500 frame relay Pick up in ascot, free to good home. submitted by /u/shamowfski [link] [comments]

Moving to Brisbane; not sure which suburb?

Hi guys, I just got a job at CQ University, and I’ll be moving up to your awesome city 😀 I’ve never been to Brisbane before, and I have no idea what the culture etc is like around the city. I was wondering if you guys could give me the down-low on the suburbs around the CBD? (CQU is in the CBD as far as I can tell) Stuff like how busy / noisy / claustrophobic they are, what traffic is like, whether its posh, safe or a bit dodgy, any big subcultures, etc. In case that question is too big, some of the suburbs I’ve looked at are the ones with the NBN: Kenmore, Chapel Hill, Ascot, Hendra, Arana Hills… But yeah, any info that could help work out where to live would be super helpful 😀 Cheers submitted by /u/Caesarr [link] [comments]
