Coal Seam Gas Mine Locations in QLD.
My question is in relation to coal seam gas mine locations in rural Queensland. I am looking at buying land in a few years far west of Brisbane. I have found numerous maps with rough locations of where the gas and coal mines are and their pipelines (the markings on the map cover entire towns). I already have a report issued by the Dep. of Natural Resources and Mines – Qld’s coal seam gas overview and associated maps. So my questions is: Is there some where I can find a more exact location of coal seam gas mines. Or does someone know what they look like on google maps? submitted by /u/Beary_Natural [link] [comments]

Looking for recommendations to find items for costume
I’m putting together a costume for my 30th birthday party and I was hoping for some places that might have some old Western belt buckles and belts. Op shops are fine… Obviously not looking to spend a great deal, probably around 50 bucks. I’m going as John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, so it would be better if it weren’t flashy and more gritty looking. submitted by /u/4lteredBeast [link] [comments]

ELDER DRAGON HIGHLANDER! A few of us are holding a MTG EDH (Commander) tournament in a few weeks, here’s the score: 16 players, all games are 4 player battle royales 1st round: 4 games, 1st and 2nd of each game advance 2nd round: 2 games, 1st and 2nd of each game advance Last round: Final 4 players. The fun part: $50 buy in, winner takes all at the end of the day. Beers and such encouraged, Magic is supposed to be fun remember :). The brutal part: We’re all playing for commanders. The winner of each game takes the commanders of 3rd and 4th. Keep them, sell them, make a trophy hat out of them, it’s your choice! We’re looking for people that play EDH for the fun aspect and don’t mind a spot of gambling ;). The house will take 10% and put on a BBQ, other than that

Science Jobs in Brisbane – trends
Hey guys, Running of going back to uni. I’m really feeling like I don’t want to do law anymore, as much as I love the idea of being a lawyer, the competition to get an internship or clerkship is enough to turn me off since I’m an average student. I’ve always been into science subjects at school. Particularly “space” and astronomy, environmental science, and forensics (CSI type shit). I’m thinking about giving a science degree a shot. But before I do, I want to really understand what the Brisbane, even the Australian job market is like for the sciences. If there’s any long term forecasts as to the competitiveness of landing a job etc. What areas are or will be in demand? Thanks guys. submitted by /u/Pupsbear [link] [comments]
