Short term employment

Hi all, I live in Hobart and feel like I need a change in my life. I have been thinking about heading over to the mainland for the short term and wondered what kinds of jobs might be suitable for say 3-6 months. My first though was working in clubs etc. which I have experience in but wondered what else may be available. Also wondering about accomodation. I see a lot of places on realestate.com.au where you can rent a room with furniture included. Looking for MMA gym advice

Hi, I’m looking for an MMA gym near the south side of Brisbane (travel convenience) but have never trained. I am totally new and am looking for a place where I can learn to fight. I am interested in Muay Thai, BJJ and Striking and grappling. The thing is though, I would not like to spend that much as I am 17. I have been personally been looking around and found “Fightcross MMA Logan” this is close and looks alright, if anybody has trained here please let me know if this is a good gym. Also prices Per, wk or mth, would be great. I was looking at “Area fitness MMA” but as i was digging i found they dont really teach you how to fight but they have, fitness classes inspired by MMA routines. (This is not what im after). We've built a transport app with real-time animation – looking for early users for Qld feedback

I’m co-founder and backend developer of NextUp – a public transport android app that provides easy map-based info about services. It’s got an animated timetable and real time data in Brisbane and scheduled data throughout Queensland. It’s early days and we are looking for some people to try it out and give us feedback and help develop the roadmap. McDonalds Albion

Just got yet another wrong order from McDonald’s Albion with no satisfactory response (they couldn’t even understand how the order was wrong). I’ve seen a few posts here where people have shared bad experiences about this store but have been unable to find them. Hiring a Place to Day Drink

Are there places you can hire for an event, say Saturday day, where you can go there, put a bit of an event on and get drunk? Like a community Hall or something? Has anyone had experience in this? I’m thinking up to 20 people. Edit: so basically we want to have a chilli cook off. We slow cook our chilli’s all day then bite the winner at the end of the day. We’re all dressed like Mexicans.
