Lost dog: Kelvin Grove

My friend has lost her dog from Kelvin Grove. Her name is Ellie, she’s a gorgeous Kelpie X with a white tail. Here’s what she looks like http://imgur.com/a/GaHzG We think she was spooked by the windy weather and is heading along Kedron Brook. If you are in the area and can keep an eye out it would be much appreciated! She has my friend’s number on her collar but she’s skittish… However if you have a ball she’ll come right over. If you see a black dog roaming the streets please let the local council know so we can look for her! Thanks guys submitted by /u/bringmethenightyeah [link] [comments]

Boring plumbing question – what's up with my hot water?

Where should I be asking the below question? I have a electric cylinder water heater. It’s a 315 litre one, built in 1999 by Vulcan – model 681315. It gets power from 10.00am ’till 5.00pm or so. The temperature of the water varies, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. The water’s temperature appears to be something to do with the amount of hot water being pulled from the system. If I open the hot water tap on the shower, the water is tepid – and remains so forever. If I open the hot water tap on the bath as well for ten seconds, the water out of the shower heats up to a nice warm temperature, and stays at this nice warm temperature. (There’s a hot and cold tap on the shower – no mixer). In the other bathroom, we have two showers. Turn on the hot water for

Art for a cause | Help some lowly students pass their course and support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

My student team, Lucent Events, is hosting White & Bright – an art exhibition and auction/raffle which is fundraising to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Please help us raise awareness and support the OCRF’s endeavours of developing and implementing an early detection test for ovarian cancer.   White & Bright will exhibit a range of artwork donated by local, interstate, and international artists to support the cause. All artwork will be raffled at the end of the night and all proceeds of White & Bright will be donated to the OCRF.   The facts: In Australia, one woman dies every 10 hours as a result of ovarian cancer. There is no early detection test and there is no cure.   Symptoms of ovarian cancer can be vague and commonly confused for other conditions, resulting in late diagnoses of the disease. Common symptoms of ovarian cancer are: * Abdominal or
