Places that hire beginning bartenders

I have 8 months cafe waitressing experience and 4 months experience in functions but maybe looking to make the change to become a bartender/work in a bar/restaurant but don’t really know that much yet. Are there any places in Brisbane that are known to take on beginners? Or what is the best way to get experience? Maybe a golf club or RSL? submitted by /u/occulant [link] [comments]

Places to work – Southside?

I stayed home all morning, within ear shot of my front door from 7:30 to lunch time. Heard no knock and saw no one out front. Next thing I get a notification saying that they tried to deliver it but no one was there to pick it up. Absolute crap, no one ever came to my door. I’m assuming the postie couldn’t be bothered walking up my stairs. Then I went to my local Post Office and the manager there could not only couldn’t help me, but was really rude to me as well! They palmed me off by giving me a generic number that you call to get the Aus Post call centre. I waited half an hour before giving up. Has anyone else
