Hey Brisbane photographers! I have just got into the hobby properly after many years of casual photography on the IPhone. I bought a DSLR and am looking for someone to learn from. Would love to do random shoots of the city at sunset etc or to meet up and have a photography day. I live South West of the city but am keen to travel. Need to hire a car for the weekend, what are your suggestions for a good place to do it from?

allo, I have a few relatives visiting Brisbane this weekend and would love to hire a 4×4/6 seater for one or two days. What are the best services available in Brisbane according to you guys? it would be good if there is a ‘dogs allowed’ sort of policy but that won’t be a deal-breaker in any case. Phone and Tablet plans.

I have an iPhone 6s which has just come off contact and just recently got given a Samsung tablet. I’d ultimately like to get on a deal where they share data between the 2 devices. I’m currently with Vodafone ($80 a month talk and text unlimited and 9gb data), wouldn’t mind going to Telstra (reception + speed + NRL live pass data free), but depending on price I’m open for anything. Car rental short term

Hi all, I’m looking at renting a car for tomorrow morning. Looking for a good price and hopefully from the city rather than the airport. Pint of Science

Just went to the “Pint of Science” at the lucky duck cafe. Absolutely brilliant. 3 very good speakers who gave interesting talks and who made the value of their research very clear. Suncorp Stadium Seating

My friends and I are thinking of going to Ed Sheeran’s concert next year at the Suncorp Stadium. We would like the best ticket possible (but seating down) as it’s our first concert ever. In the ticket details, the options we were thinking of buying is A Reserve Grandstand or A reserve Side view. Both have the same price. What is the difference and which is the best seat?
