This happened last time as well, they obviously went through our mail. We keep it neat and tidy on the shelf and both last time and this time it was not on the shelf, but on the table. A different person came, the owner of the real-estate, not the property manager. It said clearly on the inspection notice that the property manager, let’s call her Jessica, would enter. (edit, real-estate company) The shed that they provided was not water-proof and was unsecured. It has always been padlocked and we always padlock it when we leave the home as we have had two break-ins already, would they get shitty that they couldn’t get into the shed? There is a wooden deck out there that was used for a jacuzzi by the past tenants, we have not maintained it because we had thought that we did not have to, but just to

the Optus saga continues
Following up on https://redd.it/6ab136 … I gave up on trying to use Optus for phone, and am about to give up on them for internet. Three weeks (and 11 customer support contacts, speaking to 30+ agents) later, the tech arrived to install my internet yesterday. The guy fumbled around for a few hours then walked away saying he would call me. Today I called Optus to see what was up, and these are the highlights (listed in order of agent on my most recent call today): 8: it looks like you are NBN- I will transfer you. 9: I can’t find your account… you must be cable, I will transfer you. 10: it looks like the line is broken 736 meters from your house… we will repair it by Friday. I don’t get how it took over two hours on the phone for agent 10 (likely closer to 30 overall

Looking for some advice
Hi /r/Brisbane Looking for some good advice. Using a throwaway for this one. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t know what I want or what I should do. The fear of things going pear shape is keeping me from changing, even though I am not currently 100% happy. Some context, I’m 28 years old and I am the 2nd in charge of a store at one of the biggest retail stores in Australia. My job is pretty straight forward and I would say I perform it very well. I would rate myself an 9/10 and this is backed up in my performance reviews. I have been pushing for my own store for about 3 years now and the area manager has supported me in pushing my case as he believes I am capable which I appreciate. However I get the feeling his boss does not agree

Traffic through the valley is terrible tonight. Anyone know what's going on? I was stuck on a bus that didn't move for over 20 minutes. Finally got off to go grab dinner instead of sitting in traffic. Anyone know what's going on?
