Hi guys and gals, my fiancee and I are looking around to plan a party in Brisbane for 130-140 guests, and decided our house is not big enough! Does anyone have any affordable suggestions for venues to hire around, not super tied to location but we are mostly on the inner/south side of town. With/without food is still in the air at this point until we come up with a venue. submitted by /u/Tromboc [link] [comments]

Second date ideas around Brisbane ?
Hey guys need some suggestions for dates in Brisbane. We’ve done the whole Goma southbank Botanic Gardens thing on first date, any input for what might be cool on a second date ? I don’t have a car so I’d prefer places accessible by public transport. Cheers guys submitted by /u/phhai [link] [comments]
Freelance work payment
Hey everyone! I’ve just landed a new freelance project (graphic design), and the lady is just a small business looking for a new brand identity. I’m very keen to do the project, however she’s asking to pay in smaller instalments. I’m interested in your opinions on this as I’m not sure how small I should let the instalments be (the project is less than $1000 all up, so I’m considering maybe $100 instalments each fortnight?) Thanks in advance for your guidance! submitted by /u/seand00de [link] [comments]

Saturday and Sunday is the meat of the hackathon where we will build concrete solutions such as mobile apps, anything that has immediate impact for people experiencing homelessness, built on the feedback people give us on the day and in the lead up via engagement and research by QUT,

Medication for Anxiety Disorder
Have suffered GAD, SAD for as long as I can remember. Have seen around 5 different psychologists and a few psychiatrists. I meditate and exercise daily, eat quite healthy. I’ve just about given up on therapy but I’m still keen on trying medications. Have been on more anti-depressants/anti-anxiety meds then I’d care to list. The meds I’ve tried have mostly been negative experiences (mostly SSRI and SNRI’s) but I’m hoping there are others out there that show promise. Just wondering if there are any decent local psychiatrists that aren’t too expensive and are willing to try newer treatments? Or if there are any medications that you’ve heard about that show promise? submitted by /u/throwawaybrisbane11 [link] [comments]
Little boy on my train tonight got upset when the train driver announced 'Toowong Station'. He thought he said 'The wrong station' and got sad thinking they were lost.
