Brisbane Wheel Fitment
Does anyone know of anywhere cheap on the southside for tyre fitting and balancing. I’ve already got the tyres purchased, just need them put on the car. Few places I’ve called have asked for 40-50 p/tyre. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/FukoTamashi [link] [comments]

Partner and I will be living in Brisbane from August-October, any hot tips?
Hi /r/brisbane! We’re two Canberrans who will be staying in Brisbane for three months (August to October 2017) for my partner’s job, and wanted to get some ideas of how we can make the most of our three months there (must sees, tips on adjusting to Brisbane life, places to avoid, etc). I’ve had a read of the wiki and started doing some of my own research but thought I’d throw the question out here too, so hope this kinda submission is okay. Things we like: We both enjoy some day hiking and road-tripping to picturesque spots. He likes gaming, watching rugby league (as long as he’s allowed to remain a Raiders fan), playing various social team sports (though he admits he’s not very

My grandfather is dying and I want to play him out at his funeral.
My grandfather was in the NZ Navy for about a decade and I would like to learn to play the Last Post and play it at his funeral. Does anybody know where I can get a Bugle and lessons? I can’t seem to find any in Brisbane and I can’t seem to find anybody who teaches people to play. I could look for a Trumpet and somebody to teach me if I can’t find a Bugle, but I’d rather do it on a bugle if it isn’t too difficult. submitted by /u/lifelink [link] [comments]
Queensland's Attorney-General has written to the state coroner asking him to hold an inquest into the 1973 firebombing of Brisbane's Whiskey Au Go Go, in which 15 people died.
