Trying to find (and thank) passers by that stopped and stayed with me until emergency paramedics took me away from a crash I had on the northside back in January.

There’s not really any way for me to find them. I figured I’d try posting here and see if maybe anyone is friends with anyone who might have mentioned it? It was back on January 12th and it was southbound on the Bruce Highway just before it forks off into either the Gympie Arterial or the Gateway Motorway. I crashed headfirst into the barrier that divides the road. I was pretty messed up and people pulled over and checked on me and stayed with me whilst I was all sorts of messed up as my face went through the windscreen and I broke some bones and yeah. It’s very important to me because whilst I was slumped over the road, crying my eyes out, I don’t know why but there was a man there comforting me and telling me it’ll be ok and I asked him to hold my hand

Bored gamer Visiting Brisbane Thursday – Saturday

Pretty much as said above. I’m an out of towner visiting for a few nights and hoping to rustle up a game or two with some randoms. Usually I’d head out the mana bar but sadly it has ceased to be. I was thinking in that foodcourty area above Fortitude Valley station. As I recall those tables were sizable enough for a quick game of the DC deck building game or I could whip out my switch and get stomped in Tetris. And it’s a public visible area so should any party turn out to be dodgy plenty of eyes means everyone’s less likely to get stabbed. submitted by /u/Vexra [link] [comments]
