Hi, I know this is way out there, but I am willing to give it a go. Our household has been infilttrated by a terminator like, garbage guts, unstoppable neighbour cat who robs our kitten of her sweet food at any opportunity (when we let her out during the day we need to keep the back door open). Keeping it short, we have tried everything to this point. I am after any advice or experience which would point me to a potential RFID cat door and someone that can install it on a security door / fly screen. Just putting it out there. You never know. submitted by /u/atomicmoth [link] [comments]

[Advice] Brisbane dangerous dog laws (sad, don't read if you aren't good with animal harm)
During the wind today our side gate blew open, as well as a neighbor’s gate (or at least with their gate, we assume. Their pit-bull came into our backyard and decapitated and ate our 9 month old mini fox terrier cross chihuahua (small dog). It entered through one side gate, both were found on the opposite side where it had cornered our dog. Their dog has attacked a dog before and has escaped on numerous occasions (ourselves and other neighbors have returned their dog to them before). They promptly put their pit-bull down knowing they had no chance of any successful alternative. As far as we know they didn’t have so much as a sign that their dog was dangerous. My post is to ask this- is there anything we can do? They still have another dog. I’ve walked past the rear of their house for years, I was told

Women's cricket
Hi Redditors I am hoping you guys can help me where Google has failed. I would love to play women’s cricket this summer, and I am hoping to find a club. I live in Wynnum, but I am happy to go to somewhere within half an hour of here. I would rather it not be super super serious because I have never played before, but I have recently lost a lot of weight and am wanting to get more active. Any assistance would be appreciated. submitted by /u/unicornblueslaw [link] [comments]

Hi Brisbane, Can anyone recommend an awesome party planner who could help me recreate Bilbo’s birthday party (from Lord of the Rings) for my fiance’s 30th in January? TIA! submitted by /u/N7-forever [link] [comments]
Recommendations for counsellors in the CBD/inner-city area?
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this. I’m looking for a counsellor in the CBD/inner-city area to help work through some relationship/family/cultural issues. The sooner I can get an appointment, the better. Can anyone recommend a counsellor or counselling centre they have had a positive experience with or heard good things about? Thank you again! submitted by /u/brisbanegirl [link] [comments]
Lost galaxy S7 at RBWH bus stop. Hoping someone good out there has found it.
Ok so this will probably be fruitless and just spawn a bunch of troll posts, but anything is worth a shot at the moment. We believe a friend of mine left her phone at RBWH busway, platform 1 (towards City) as we caught the 330 service to Roma street. There’s a very slight but unlikely chance that it was left at Roma street, platform 2 but I don’t believe so. We would have been at RBWH @9:45PM August 16th. She’s learned a very important lesson about backups. Everything of hers was on that phone and sadly she didn’t have backups of most if not all her things. Anyway if you’ve seen it, please PM me. I’ve spoken to Translink who referred me to BCC. I’ve spoken to BCC who referred me to Translink. GG guys. Spoken to RBWH lost property but no luck there. Data seems to be off on
Lady on Route 60 this morning
There was a lady on the Route 60 bus this morning who had some sort of medical emergency and an ambulance had to be called. I was wondering if anyone out there had any idea if she was okay? Not asking for personal details, but I thought I should just get off and let the 10+ other people tending to her have some space. submitted by /u/AsianJimHalpert [link] [comments]
