What can this be other than a gas leak?

I noticed bubbling in the Brisbane river water in front of the GOMA this morning. What can it be other than a gas leak? http://imgur.com/2AmgDez I called BCC who said I need to speak to the gas company (don’t know who, they just transferred me), and they said unless I can smell gas they won’t log it as a job. Any fellow Third Culture Kids out there?

A Third Culture Kid is “someone who, as a child, has spent a significant period of time in one or more culture(s) other than his or her own, thus integrating elements of those cultures and their own birth culture, into a third culture.” Spending the formative years of ones life immersed in other cultures really defines our identity to a unique extent. However we can face challenges in adult life with our cultural identities and the sense of belonging. For example I’ve now lived in my ‘home’ country of Australia for the past 6 years yet still feel a stranger, and I suspect I always will. My passport says Australian but my accent doesn’t always agree. Where can I get quality Beestings?

On my birthday, my brother and I asked for a Beesting. His gf looked around and bought what she thought was a beesting, but it was a beesting inspired honey cake (shes never had a beesting before.) I know Flour and Chocolate make them on Tuesdays. I am unsure if Kim Thanh Hot Bread still make them. Recommendations for a weekend in Brisbane?

I’ve read the FAQ but while we’d love to see some national parks we won’t have the time to. We are flying to Brisbane from the 23rd to 25th. We were thinking about spending some time at the beach on Saturday afternoon and having dinner on Mt Coot Tha. Then Sunday going around Brisbane city and/or driving to Tamborine Mountain area. Could you tell us a bit more about what you think is overated/underated in Brisbane? Pedantic rental inspections

Our property manager has a habit of noting small ridiculous things. Today was a new level: she left a note after an inspection saying ‘Just make sure water around the sink gets cleaned up.’ Fucking seriously? Water comes out of sinks honey, sometimes they’re a bit wet. Unless something you notice is causing permanent damage to the property you can fuck right of with your comments, you’re not my mother checking I cleaned my room.
