Towing in Brisbane
It seems that businesses are still doing the predatory towing highlighted in mass media recently. One company has since gone into liquidation however many still remain. Has anyone else had recent experience with these companies? submitted by /u/youngbrows [link] [comments]

Is paying for Flatmates.com.au worth it?
I’m looking for a cheap ($150 inc bills and internet) unfurnished double room in the new Translink zone 1. I’ve tried gumtree, but I had to take my number off the listing because some guys treated it like a sex hotline rather than a real estate listing. The trouble with flatmates.com.au is that properties aren’t listed in advance, so I have to wait 14 days to message if they’re labelled early bird. $25 for 10 days seems like a rip off to me, but I want to move at the end of June 🙁 submitted by /u/Cyrridven [link] [comments]

Visiting Brisbane
I am visiting Brisbane in August from the US and am looking for recommendations for things to do or see while I’m there. I love outdoor activities and nature but also enjoy a good bar scene. Mostly I want to see all Brisbane has to offer. Any tips? submitted by /u/manbearpig119 [link] [comments]

Brisbane 'Themed Street' areas eg. Yeronga's 'O' and Annerley 'Royal' street names
Hey r/Brisbane Has anyone else noticed that some suburbs have themed street names and perhaps knows why? Two examples I can think of are Yeronga- Orlando, Ostavo, Oriel, Otavi, Orient, Ormuz, Osterley, Ormonde etc etc. and also Annerley- Earl, Baron, Knight, Prince, King, Emperor, etc. I know about the CBD being Kings/Queens crossways but I thought it was interesting you can see it in the suburbs too. Anywhere else in Brisbane you can see this? submitted by /u/spatchi14 [link] [comments]
I screwed up a roll of film that I took of the Valley and City. This was the only surviving shot.
