I’ve read about these things for ages but never had one. I just have the regular banana-brand bananas. Is there anywhere around Brisbane where you can get them? Also, anywhere to get weird fruits in general? Especially oranges? Cara cara? I don’t eat a lot of fruit so it needs to be special. Recommendations for buying fridge/washing machine?

Good afternoon dear residents of Brisbane, The girlfriend and I are moving in a few weeks and we require a new refrigerator. The last time we bought a fridge we bought it off Gumtree, and while the fridge itself worked fine, it leaked cold air which ended up costing us a lot in power. Due to that incident, this time around she is wanting to buy one brand new. I am hesitant as it is a lot of money to spend, and wouldn’t be averse to trying find another one on Gumtree or Ebay (and maybe examine it running before committing to buy). Does anyone have any recommendations or advice? Both in where I might find a reputable second hand dealer of whitegoods (we need a washing machine as well), or if we were to buy new, where the best places to look are? Parking fine for Parking in front of my own house?

Got home today to find a parking fine of 121$ on my car that was parked in front of my house. I live in a quiet Suburban street in a quiet suburb away from the city. I’m pretty livid over this. Do I have any options as to challenging this fine? Completely random car fire.

Right in Joachim Street Park, where Birdwood Rd touches it by the freeway onramp in Holland Park West/Tarragindi. I called the fire guys and they got there within 4 minutes.
