Hey guys, I’m studying in Germany Economics in my masters degree. As you all may know, studying in Germany is not easy and a lot of people get most likely an average grade (whereas in the USA people get very good marks, till the PhD program). Can someone tell me how this relates to the University of Queensland in Economics? I wanted to attend the course “Public Economics”. Does someone has experience on that course how the grades are? As you can see, I want just to get as easy as possible good grades and I am obliged to attend the course “Pubic Economics”. I’m so sorry if you get angry about my post. submitted by /u/textime [link] [comments]

Is it too cold to swim at the beach?
I haven’t been to either coast since winter has arrived. Will I have a bad time if I go for some sun at the GC today? submitted by /u/PM_MeYourThoughts [link] [comments]

Excessive 40 speed Kingsford Smith Drive
I worked in traffic control for a few years and the main rule was simple: Only make motorists do 40 in the most dangerous and live areas of road works and for the shortest amount of time/ distance. The main reason is people will not drive 40 for ever, most people are like ok 40 ohh better actually slow down now there are real workers n stuff happening. The Kingsford smith drive area has huge cement barriers that a Road Train would have a problem moving the workers are all safe at 60. And sure if extra work near the traffic needs to be done put it to 40 for like a few hundred meters people get and respect that. But 40Kph for the entire run along the river is just insane! Rant over. submitted by /u/treblanietsnie [link] [comments]
Dog-food grade kangaroo meat.
Back in Melbourne, my butcher used to be able to source kangaroo mince for about 4 bucks a kg, ground bone and all. Pretty sure it was roadkill but may have just been offcuts. Is there anywhere in Brisbane that does something similar? submitted by /u/weinertorn [link] [comments]
