What kind of jobs can I get?

So it seems pretty difficult to get a job in Brisbane right now based on the fact that there are often people asking for help finding jobs in this subreddit. I am definitely having trouble finding another job. I currently do have a part-time job but I would like to find a better job because the one I have now does not give me enough hours/pay to be able to support myself so I still live with my parents and I desperately want to move out. I am 21, a full time uni student so I can only work about 15 hours a week. I have 3 years of experience working in food service (a drink store). The place I work at now is the first and only job I’ve ever had and the only reason I got the job was because I had a distant connection to the owners.

Bulimba: Man with the Red Hat

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows of the Red Hat guy in Bulimba? Overweight, middle aged, always wearing a red cap and I believe has a mental disability. I first “met” him when I saw a movie at Balmoral cineplex a few months ago. He was sitting at the back, murmuring about how he thought everyone was disrespectful on their phones during the advertisements and then screaming at anyone if they sat in front of him in the cinema (it was at capacity). He would move to another seat and then if someone else sat in front of him he would yell at them as well until the whole cinema was full, and then he left before the movie even started. Will a hospital visit get my wanted mate arrested?

My mate has some warrants out on her. She broke her foot earlier today and now doesn’t want to seek medical attention for fear she will be arrested. Usually in the movies when this happens, people have a mate that is an ex doctor or vet but we don’t have that luxury. Shitty Roommate Update: QCAT Queries.

After speaking with my supervisor at my place of work/school, she’s told me that she needs to talk to her boss first before providing documentation on what happened. She’s told me that she’s happy to confirm the incident with police though, so I’ve left her details with them. So currently I have the following documentation: Completed QCAT application; Contact information of property management; Contact information of supervisor; Detailed timeline of events from January to now; Police incident reference number (QI ###########) as a form of verification that they are aware of the incident in which she showed up to my workplace/school; Original application of tenancy demonstrating rent amount; Current copy of lease; Signed statement of witness from my colleague that witnessed her get upset at me during one of the times I refused to connect her to her ex. Barber/hairdresser needed

Hey there fellow Brisbane Redditors!! Im in need of a trim/tidy up, however the last tidy/trim i got ruined my hair due to the hairdresser being inexperience with my hair, taking out chunks of my hair leaving my hair all patchy. i had to shave it all off and regrow it again 🙁 (i wont name them or where they are) I have thick black curly(tight) hair and im now getting split ends etc with my hair, its getting really wild, so i’m in need of a trim/maintenance for it. BYO Dinner & Karaoke

Hello friends- My birthday is coming up and I am trying to come up with some plans for the cheap but am clutching at straws. I was thinking dinner and karaoke at Music City on Adelaide St- only kicker is that i cant find a decent BYO restaurant in the CBD. Has to be BYO or have really cheap drinks (we’re extremely tight/broke), so any suggestions would be appreciated. P.S. – Open to all cuisines. Thanks!
