Any job openings?

So my position at work is being reassigned to another role – although the company won’t state it my current position is redundant and the work is being transitioned off shore. The role they want to reassign my team to basically brings us back to step 1 within the company, but as the new people in the department. Management are boasting about the coaching and development opportunities – but they are nothing but absolute lies to butter up the transition. Does anyone know of any potential roles opening within Brisbane? Doing the rounds on seek right now – but if anyone is aware of anything not advertised on there – I’d love to hear from you. Possible Origin Energy scam

For a couple of months now, I have receiving calls from this Melbourne number* that I don’t have saved. Coincidentally, I’ve always been at work and unable to take the call. Usually, they don’t leave a voicemail. Today, they left a voicemail. The message that was left didn’t mention me (or the person calling) by name but they said they were from Origin Energy and they were calling about my requested alterations to the energy supply to my property and they mentioned the address. They said they couldn’t do any alterations until I called them back and left a 1300 number* to return their call. Right away, things seemed dodgy. I haven’t requested any alterations to my electricity service and the number they called from + number they left to return a call weren’t listed on any Origin website. 5 minutes after the phone call, I received an email from

For the love of god, keep your cats inside

I’ve now seen 2 dead cats this week on my commute to work and it breaks my heart every time. I can’t imagine how devastated I would be if my cat was killed so please, please keep them inside. There is absolutely no benefit to letting cats roam – they kill wildlife, they get into fights and they can get hit by cars and die in terrible pain. /rant over submitted by /u/Mathrex88 [link] [comments]

Car accidents who can I contact?

So I live just off ipswich road and for the last 2 months, every few days there is a car accident right out the front of my apartment. The section of road really needs some lights put in or better turning lanes. Who can I report this to? I’ve looked at the council website and can’t find anything.
