Opinions on Vividwireless?

I noticed they do unlimited 4G for $89 a month. The AUP says they throttle P2P traffic, but what about other usage? Has anyone used them for Netflix etc? We are stuck on ADSL at about 4Mbps, but get much faster Optus 4G on our phones, so wondering if Vivid might be better for home. submitted by /u/s13_eisbaer [link] [comments]

Student coming to Brisbane in July-August for an internship and I'm having trouble figuring out where to sleep and how to get to my workplace ! Any help?

Hi ! I will work one month in Wacol just outside Brisbane, and I can’t figure out where it’s best to find a place to sleep… I looked it up and from the center of Brisbane (i chose a random address) to my workplace it seems to be a 45 minute ride by public transportation (I won’t have a car). Do you think it’s better to find a place in the center of Brisbane and commute every day, or to find a place in Wacol and go hang out in Brisbane in the evening ? I will have shifts that start early in the morning, so if public transportation starts at 6am for example, it won’t be possible for me to be there on time leaving from Brisbane. Also, if anyone has any leads on a place to stay and a possible public transportation card that I can purchase that

Tile Cleaners ridiculously expensive?

Hi bris guys and gals, I’ve been looking at local businesses to come pressure wash / clean my small apartment’s bathroom tiles that have general grime build up, and every business ive tried seems to only deal with larger scale cleaning and want at least $250 to clean 10 metres squared of tiles. This seems a bit ridiculous to me, most are saying this is their minimum price. I had been recommended a few to try (Sapphirefloorcare, back2newcleaning, sparklingcleaningservices, tilecleaners.com.au) and cheapest so far has been $250. Is this normal? Or can someone recommend a business that deals with smaller jobs for a cheaper price. Thanks! submitted by /u/plzdontyell [link] [comments]

Warning: bike stolen out of secure garage, Morningside

Just a heads up. I read on here a bit ago about a spate of cars being broken into and thefts in Hawthorne area?? My garage doesn’t even have a sensor, it’s remote only so my theory is someone dodged in after someone driving out, grabbed it and left. My apartment block is full of older couple Ascot wannabes so I doubt it was an inside job. Who knows. Put your bike inside your apartment. submitted by /u/gameovermaaan [link] [comments]
