Electricity price increase in unit rental
So I’m renting in a complex that has one sole energy provider named metered energy. According to them they currently offer a 10% discount on market rates. I tried to organise click energy which would have brought costs down by a further 8%. Metered energy said that in order for me to change I may need to pay for the infrastructure to be installed in the complex. Does anyone want a telly? Or two?
I have a 28″ TCL flatscreen telly, which works and has a remote control and everything. It’s not a premium TV by any means, but might be good in a kids’ bedroom, a kitchen, an old folks room, or something. It has HDMI. I also have a 32″ Samsung smart TV with two remotes and HDMI and all the complicated apps and stuff that anyone would like (though it’s relatively old). The Samsung is beginning to randomly turn itself off and on, so I wouldn’t like to sell it really, because it is technically faulty, and in any case it’s a UK model which I’ve fiddled about with (and opened up twice) to make it work in Australia. But it currently works okay and might suit someone who enjoys geekery and navigating poorly-designed menus.
