How does the Brisbane Hospital/Ambulance system choose where to send a person who has a medical emergency or has called 000?

I dont know exactly how this system works. When you call 000 and have an ambulance come to wherever you are, firstly, where do they choose where they dispatch the ambulance? Is it based simply on location? Do all hospitals around the brisbane region participate in this system? Does it matter whether its a private or public hospital? Secondly, what determines which hospital you are admitted into? Is it again based on location and therefore wherever the ambulance came from? Or do they have some other protocol? What happens if you go to a private hospital and dont have private health insurance? Years ago, a close family member went through three hospitals, originally being admitted into QE2, then for a brief day at Mater for surgery, and finally for a very long period at the PA, so I am familiar with hospitals hahah. Hey redditors of Brisbane! I need your help, again! :)

We were planning to move there early 2018, however, a lot has happened in the past 3 months, the most relevant thing being: I was a victim of an express kidnapping – the thugs held me at gunpoint for 40 minutes, took off with my car, cell phone and about 1.5K AUD. This is when we said enough is enough. My wife is currently in Germany with her family, she went there initially to check out a job opportunity that did not work out. So now we have decided to anticipate our plans and move down. Sun safety

Might not be the best place to post this but me and the Mrs are visiting Brisbane in September and wondered if anyone had any tips to avoid sunburn?
