Hello Brisbane, I am coming to Australia for a short holiday in October, beginning with me spending two nights in brisbane before heading off to meet family. Firstly, where would the best area/place to stay in regards to meeting people and nightlife? Also, is there anything I should know about Australian customs when ordering at a bar/restaurant and meeting new people? Finally, what should I see in brisbane? Listen Out 2016 Opinions? Tag along?
Hey guys, I’m wondering if anyone’s been to Listen out before (http://www.listenout.com.au/). I like festivals like FOMO and Laneway and wondering if its similar? It caught my eye because of LRDU and Tchami. I’d like some opinions on the ‘vibe’ if that makes sense. None of my friends are festival people so that doesn’t help, and I’ve actually had a bit of luck with reddit in the past haha If it is worth going does I’m wondering if there’s a few peeps I could tag along with? Thanks ya’ll. submitted by /u/BruceHighway01 [link] [comments]

Party land hire – Brisbane and surrounds
Hello! I am looking to throw a post-elopement party where people can come and get drunk/noisy and then stay the night (camp). Does anyone know where you can hire a block of land or the likes in the brisbane, south east QLD region? It would be a bonus if a bonfire was allowed.
