Racing: Cox Plate on the agenda for Black Heart Bart

Former Western Australian Black Heart Bart has added another vital dimension to this years group one Cox Plate after he easily accounted for his weight for age rivals in Saturday’s Underwood Stakes at Caulfield.    His victory may have now uncovered some genuine opposition to the all-conquering race mare Winx, who until Saturday appeared to have a vice-like grip on Australia’s most important weight for age event.    Most were querying that Black Heart Bart had the capabilities of managing the 1800metres of the Underwood, however, he merely ambled away from his rivals.    An overjoyed Darren Weir said that the ease of Black Heart Bart’s victory now entitled the horse to go out after Cox Plate success.    “He will come back in two weeks time and run in the Caulfield Stakes and then we’ll look seriously at the Cox Plate. Tim Martin has Moral Victory in career best form and he made two wins from as many starts this campaign as he took out the Shannon Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday. But instead of backing-up in the Epsom, Martin will wait for next month’s Toorak Handicap at Caulfield to chase a group 1. “He has never gone better, his target is the Toorak and his win last start and today he is well and truly on song,” Martin said. “I just want to thank Mark Warlters he and I bred the horse and it has been a tough road with the breeding and it’s nice to get a good win. BP fuel "getting rid of the dirt"

Does anyone know if this “super” fuel has any oil in it? I filled up on Friday with BP 98 and today my car was letting out a small amount of blue smoke, I pulled up and checked it out. At idle there was nothing noticeable, however when revved to 2500RPM there was some smoke. Thankfully my mechanic was working on a Saturday, however by the time I reached him naturally the issue had gone away. He gave the car a decent revving and there was absolutely no smoke. I figured it would be the turbo letting go, however as it had magically disappeared by the time I got there, I would assume the only way that oil could get into the exhaust would be through the fuel? I wonder if this blue smoke was “dirt”. Magical dirt that somehow got through the fuel filter. submitted by /u/Tovora [link] [comments]
