Just got back from holiday in Palm Cove and everything here has gone to shit. Just as I was at Cairns Airport I got a text from my flatmate saying that I had to vacate the current place I’m in by the end of this month. This could not have come at a worse time for me. Starting a new job on Monday so I don’t have time to go looking at properties. I’ve tried flatmates.com.au, I’ve messaged about six people regarding their listings and got no replies from them (just that they’ve read my message and nothing else). All I get on that website is people spamming me with their advertisements in areas I don’t really want to live in and in awful quality accommodation. I managed to arrange to look at a place today and god almighty it was horrible. I can’t understand how in a first world
