Hey dudes. So cut to the chase I love watermelon. Nothing is anywhere near as good at refreshing me on a hot day as I’ve cold watermelon. So with the great wave I’ve gone to get me some watermelon. I’ve bought several the past 3 weeks and I’ve been disappointed immensely. I’m yet to find an actual fresh watermelon. All I keep getting is what I assume you be last season’s stock at the supermarket. They are mostly tasteless, rubbery disgusting things that give off an almost fermented grass aftertaste. Has anyone found decent watermelons in Brisbane or do we just have a shit lot this year?
