I have been in Brisbane for a week now and my wife will be joining me in a week. We are moving down from Colorado and are looking for some permanent accommodation while I’m doing some work at UQ. Moorooka seems to have cheap housing that is nicer than some of the surrounding areas, but I’ve read mixed reviews on the area (including one post on here from roughly three years ago). It looked like there was an increase in crime a few years ago, but I haven’t seen a lot of reviews about it lately. So, I’m asking your opinion. What is your perception of it?
