Hey! I just moved to Brissy less than half a year ago with my partner. We were shocked by our electricity bill from Red Energy (no pun intended!) – that being said, we’re both Canadians so we’re used to our bills being like $50 a month. This is the first electricity bill we’ve ever received so help me out here.. To put it in perspective: our hot water heater runs off of a solar panel, we never use the air conditioner, we don’t have heat, we never have the TV on, and at most we run two laptops at the same time and charge our phones. We don’t use our stove and oven as often as we should, and we run our energy efficient dishwasher maybe 2x a week, same goes for our energy efficient washing machine. We hang dry our clothes. We never leave the lights on!! I just
