Hi guys, I’m 24 years old student from Colombia, currently in Brisbane. I came to Australia a year ago with a student visa that expires in about 6 months. In the short amount of time that I’ve been here I’ve fallen in love with this place, everything about the aussie lifestyle, the laid back vibe, the people. I’ve come to realize that this is where I want to live for the rest of my life. So here are my options: a) I could extend my student visa, that would mean enrolling in a new course and paying for all the fees. It’s an expensive option and I don’t have the money to pay for it unless I borrow from my friends, which I’d like to avoid.
